"You good at Potions?" he wasn't scared, maybe a little, but it was an informative question. Newton gave the last instructions and now he could drink the poison. "Let's see how this goes" he raised the cup "Cheers" well, she wasn't going to drink it but whatever. The taste was horrible but right now he felt good. Normal at least.
"No effects so far" and as soon as he said so, he started to feel sick and dizzy. He started blinking a lot "Umm I think... I'm going to sit down" and he didn't noticed where the chair was and fell on his butt "Don't worry...don't. I'm good" he stand up. Maybe he should stay like this. Yeah.
Ready for the next step, Janelle heard Hugo say he was going to fetch the potion. Upon returning, he asked the $64,000 question.
"Yeah, I'm pretty good at potions, so don't worry. I'll have you good as new in no time." It appeared that "no time" had better be quick. Hugo took the poison and shortly thereafter, he was going down.
"Are you ok?", Janelle said with concern. Janelle wanted to help him up, but she needed to focus on the potion. At least if Hugo was sitting, he didn't have much further to fall. Understanding the urgency, Janelle tried to get back to brewing. Time was of the essence.
"Concentrate", Janelle said to herself. She did
not want to mess this up. Her partner was counting on her to get it right. Checking her notes once more, she moved on. Getting her measuring spoons and cup, Janelle got four measures of her finely crushed Bezoar powder and deposited it in her cauldron. Next, two measures of Standard Ingredient were retrieved and added to the cauldron as well. Taking a peek at Hugo
big mistake, Janelle knew she had to hurry. He was not looking very well at the moment. She had to hurry, but at the same time, be accurate and efficient. Yeah, easy.
Taking out her wand, Janelle pointed it at her measuring cup.
"Aguameti", she said. The water began to flow from the tip of her wand and quickly filled the measuring cup. Janelle poured one cup of water into her cauldron and then repeated the process. Two cups of water.........done. The sound of students wretching, was not helping Janelle get through the brewing process. She would just have to tune it out and hope that Hugo didn't get to that point before she had the antidote ready.
