It seemed like his crushing duties were over, so Dima moved onto the next step. First, of course, he cleaned his cauldron. "Scourgify." Since he'd be working with his measuring tools to get the right amount of crushed bezoar for the antidote, he went ahead and cast on those as well.

Between spells, he peeked over at Penelope. Was she doing all right? Even though they'd have to wait for the professor's word for her to take the potion, Dmitriy still wanted to get his brewing done quickly. Hurry wasn't advisable in this setting, but there was something riding on it.

He separated four measures of crushed bezoar with his now spotless tools and added the right amount to his cauldron. Slow work, this was.

ANTIDOTE TO COMMON POISONS

Purpose
• counteracts the effects of ordinary poisons

Ingredients
• 1 bezoar ✔
• 2 measures standard ingredient
• 1 pinch unicorn horn
• 2 mistletoe berries
• 2 cups water

Procedure
• clean mortar and pestle ✔
• place bezoar in mortar and crush into very fine powder ✔
• clean cauldron ✔
• clean measuring tools ✔
• add four measures crushed bezoar to cauldron ✔
• add standard ingredient
• pour in water
• heat to a medium temperature for five seconds
• allow mixture to brew for five minutes
• add unicorn horn
• clean stirrer
• stir potion two times clockwise
• drop in mistletoe berries
• stir potion two times counterclockwise
• leave concoction to sit for at least two minutes before using
