Lil' gooz | Sarangel | Junior Dweeb Oh man. Icky potions and antidotes? Professor Newton could call it not harmful all he wanted, but Norah wasn't convinced. Not convinced enough to want to let Yoongi drink it, anyways. That would take a whole lot of convincing. Sure, it was kind of exciting, but it was mostly a DISASTER. What if he got sick or sad or broken or grew turnips out of his ears? And if she couldn't brew a good antidote it'd be all her fault and she'd have to live with the guilt for the entire rest of her life, which would be a pretty awful life. She wasn't ready for that quite yet.
Catching Yoongi's uncertain look, she responded with a grimace and a shrug. Uhhh. WAS she good at potions? She hadn't blown up anything yet, and Professor Culloden made sure she wasn't completely incompetent. Sure, she didn't really understand the underlying significance of absolutely anything relevant to potion making and probably never would considering that Sophie Brown wasn't still here to explain all the things, but she wasn't completely hopeless. It wasn't like this was ancient runes or something. But still. Fake poison or not, that was real responsibility. "Err. I'm alright? Ish? Kinda sorta?" With an apologetic look, Norah shrugged again and silently willed him to make a decision. SHE couldn't just decide. Or maybe she could. Strong prefect sixth year, right? She had meant to start acting like one of those. Before she could second guess herself too much, she stood up quickly and said, "You're probably much better than I am though so I can take the poison thing okay? Okay," all very fast. DIDJA SEE THAT? THAT was a DECISION. Kind of. She'd have to work on the coherence later. With that, she made her way to the front of the room to retrieve her certain death potion.
