Sam dumped her bag on what had become her usual desk, pulling out her quill and parchment absent-mindedly as she looked around the room for the Professor. The Professor who wasn't here, but had left his rat in his place.

She shrugged, now used to the concept of an absent teacher, and went to pick up her lab coat from the hooks. Spotting her dorm mates as she returned, she gave Rachel and Azura a friendly wave and hi. Did the former know her face was covered in pen? Of course there was only one person in their dorm she could see doing such a thing. Sam rubbed her own face subconsciously, glad she'd had time to look in the mirror this morning. If Haddie ever did such a thing to her...
