Carl walked into the classroom, forcing a smile onto his face. Potions was not his strongest subject - as a matter of fact, it was his worst. He always thought he did everything as instructed, only to end up with a bad result. Hopefully he would do better in this lesson. But ... where was Professor Newton? He liked the Professor and was disappointed to not see him at his usual place.

"Hello, Madame Curie." The Hufflepuff said instead at the rat. He made his way to the hooks along the side of the wall and retrieved his white lab coat. It made him feel like a scientist! Having a Professor Newton and a Madame Curie also added to the effect. With a real smile, he made his way to his seat at the back of the classroom. He then began setting up his Potions materials for the lesson.
