Not a bad time then? Good. Zeke returned the Professor's smile with an easy one of his own, sitting himself down on the chair that was offered. Now it was crunch time. "I came with a request, actually," he started, unsure if he should warm into this or just dive right in. He supposed a healthy mix of the two would suffice. "I had an arrangement with Professor Dakest while he was teaching here," he added, remembering to use the man's surname instead of his given name, "he agreed to assist me with additional training outside of class, private tuition of sorts - dueling and general practice. So I was wondering, if you might be able to afford me something similar?"
Yes?
Yes?
Of course, he had his reasons for it... so before the silence could be filled by a response from the man, he continued. "I was the dueling Champion for my tournament group last year, and I'm keen to defend my title, but that aside, I'm here for self-improvement. I'm willing to work for it." Hirsch leaned back in his chair as Zeke started on his tirade of.......... whatever it was he came here for. To be honest, the man was grateful that he launched straight into it instead of making meaningless small-talk when he clearly had something on his mind. So yes, thank you, Zeke.
Additional training? Oh, wasn't this interesting.
The man was trying his hardest not to smile, he really was. But those words along with 'dueling' and 'general practice' had made him more excited than anything. So yes, he was currently smiling as if someone had just offered him a pay rise or a free dinner at the fanciest restaurant in London. Could he express his excitement? Could he?
Keep calm, good man, keep calm. "I don't doubt for one second that you'll put any less than 110% of your efforts into it," he started, still smiling, "And who am I to say no to one of my best students wanting extra tuition?" Though, if he went on to tell other people this, the man would refuse profusely to have said anything along those lines. Ahem. "What kind of defence would you like to learn? Is there any area of weakness that you'd like to concentrate on?" Quote:

Professor Hirsch basically said it as perfect as Dante could ever imagine saying it so all he said was "Exactly Professor, every human has something they fear or something that holds them back whether for good or bad."
Dante's fear was lethifolds even though he never met one and probably wouldn't in the future. But still he was afraid of them. So it was a good idea he should try and learn the patronus charm instead of finding out all he could on animagi. Both he kind of wanted to peruse.
Dante did not hate the color but the Professor had a good laugh. He just thought it did not go well with the room or any room for that matter. He already thought of the exceptions before. "I don't hate it, i just have a strong dislike of orange in any furniture. Maybe blue would be better" It was just a suggestion. He did not have to take it. But blue would look better.
AND Dante was soo happy in his head right now. He had a big smile on his face. He looked like a kid in the candy store. He tried to hide it but no use. He had gotten the answer he was looking for since he began the talk. "That is appreciated and i will definitely have to take you up on that offer." Though he would of course have to tell Hirsch what he wanted to research and well knew that lying would get no where. He would need time to work on an answer. Because he really did want to know a bit extra in the name of defense. Yep in the name of defense and knowledge. Wasn't it interesting that Dante used the words 'something they fear' and 'something that holds them back' in the same sentence? Something about this boy's wordings intrigued the man, especially this one. "And if someone finds out yours, they could use it against you. So, naturally, defence helps with that." Was that why the boy wanted more knowledge on the subject? Hmm?
He didn't hate the colour? That was surprising. "Blue's more calming, apparently. I'll have a think about that." Meaning that it was probably going to happen. Thank you for being an interior designer, Dante.
Well, will you look at that look on Dante's face? It was contagious, actually. "I look forward to it." He really did. It might give him a bit of freedom on what he could teach if it was only to a student who wanted to learn more. But, Merlin knows, if word reached out to Moxley, he was going to have to think about a way to wrangle him and Dante out of trouble. "What is it that you wanted to learn more about?"
