Lovely™ | Captain Hurted | Ariana's Bane | Resident Antagonist | Unparalleled Delight Perhaps predictably, Daxton had sat himself as far away from everyone else as it was possible to get, up against the wall and without a mat or cushion, just as he had chosen to do in the first Defence Against the Dark Arts class of the term. And, just like in that class, he was barefoot, his shoes and socks down by his side. Looking as bored as ever, Daxton glanced around at the others in attendance, occasionally glancing back to Hirsch. Airey Flamsteed's presence had not gone unnoticed either.
Daxton's expression did not change even when Hirsch launched into his spiel, but he did finally manage to keep his eyes on the professor for longer than a few seconds. The rules might be something of a problem; Daxton was regularly accused of being rude, despite never talking and the fact that he was not always intentionally rude. If it was grounds for being kicked out of Duelling Club, he may as well up and leave now.
But he did not. Instead, Daxton went back to looking around the room as Hirsch posed a question to the club, thinking up his own answer but having no intentions of sharing it. The natural response was 'shield charm', but that was boring and so predictable. Daxton had come to the conclusion (or rather, he had started hoping) that this was likely a trick question - depending on the context of the duel, if one knew the opponent's duelling habits, if it was a fight to the death against a dark wizard or a friendly duel, and so on - when he caught sight of Suri nearby. He did not look at her for long, but considered her and her hair and her general demeanour, then leaned back against the wall and looked back at Hirsch, instinctively glaring at the man he still hated.
