SPOILER!!: Art, you sneaky-smart-person

Art looked at Miss Stevens for a moment, after she had said she would like some ingredients for a potion. He smiled and nodded, listening to the ingredents she needed. He put his finger up to his chin and tapped on it, having a think. "Y-you wish to... to brew an ageing potion?" he asked. "For uhh... for which purpose, Miss Stevens?" Not only was the potion an advanced one, but he was quite curious as to her purpose of attempting to brew the potion.

For now, he ignored her last question, but if her answer seemed valid enough, he would of course explain to her that a simple mortar and pestle, and some elbow grease would powder that tortoise shell. Or, easier yet, the already powdered tortoise shell was in stock.

Well obviously Mason had been stupid to assume that the Potions Master wouldn't know what the ingredients were for.

But Mason had been prepared for the question. She had obviously thought of an excuse as to why an 11 year old needed an Ageing Potions. Master plans need clever-preparations after all.

So Mason did her best at blushing and looked shyly down at the floor, "Well, um, Professor. It's kind of embarrassing, but um, there's this boy that I have. . . erm, feelings for. But he only goes for girls his age or older. and I oh so desperately want him to notice me. I don't know what else to do, this is all that I could think of!"

Insert a few fake tears and gross-sounding sniffles here for effect.

"I know it's silly, but Professor, I really want this so very much!" she looked up at him and wiped at her sodden eyes. "Can't you remember what it was like to be young and in love, Professor?"

Oh Merlin, please. Just let him sympathise, please.
