Steps 3 and 4 Bewitching Bowtruckle | a roamin’ numeral | Newt's salamander eyes ❤ | Ko Ko Bop
Carl squinted at the picture on the blackboard and listened to the next set of instructions. He pushed his rootstock to the side and grabbed the mahogany tree. His full attention was on Professor Myers's demonstration and this handy-dandy diagrams. Sooo basically, they were pretty much the same steps as the previous ones, but with the scion!
He took his wand once more and pointed it diagonally at the top of the mahogany. Oh, but it had to be the opposite way as the rootstock, right? He changed his direction immediately and when he was fully prepared, said, "Diffindo!" The plant divided into two. He further imitated the Professor by placing the top of his scion to the bottom of his other tree - and they fit, like two puzzle pieces! He grinned before moving on to the next step.
Naturally, Carl chose to work with his grafting knife again to make the tongue. Just put the blade here and ... cut straight back! He had not touched any of the small branches growing on top either. Now, were they going to put the trees together?
