Merlin's fuzzy slippers, did that doll just speak. Surely it couldn't have, but never-the-less, Thornton had taken a step back and unholstered his wand, because the porcelain creepiness had stood.
"Good joke," Thornton looked around, still assuming that there must be a person. "Nice work on your animation spells... but it's enough now..."
He was not taking his eye off the doll, though. In case it jumped on his face or something...
