Now Ariadne was faced with the task of figuring out which part of her to add to the modeling clay. Spit would be the absolute easiest, and she had planned to go that route until the professor brought up how weak the results would be. This left a piece of her hair or real, emotional tears. The best would be the tears, but there was nothing Ariadne was THAT sad about right now, and even if there was, she wasn't sure she could just randomly produce tears without them coming out on their own.

Her hair it would be.

Ariadne didn't really want to cut her hair, but she had no other choice. She'd had a really bad experience with cutting her own hair when she was younger, and she'd ended up with no bangs. It had taken her mom a whole evening to get her hair to grow back, and even then, she'd threatened Ariadne with the thought of making her wait it out as punishment. Ariadne was older now, though, and she could probably cut hair a whole lot easier. Plus, she just snip some off the ends rather than her bangs (which she didn't even have now anyway).

Ariadne took in a deep breath then slooooooowly removed a small lock of her hair. Although she probably shouldn't have, she kept her eyes closed the whole time. It was over and done with now, though. She breathed easier as she dropped the lock into the modeling clay.
