Speaking of adventures, he made a mental note to pick up a pen next time he was in Hogsmeade. He had seen a few on his father's desk, but he never actually used one.
His bright blue eyes lit up as the professor talked about the animal potion. "A wolf, actually. Which was odd that I chose that, to be honest, since my patronus is also a wolf." He did find it strange. He had only chosen the fur at chance, thinking a wolf would be a cool animal to become. To his surprise, his patronus had taken the same form when he learned the spell at the end of that year. Magic worked in strange ways. "It was strange at first, since you only take the appearance of an animal. To me it felt like walking on my hands and feet. My back hurt for a few days after as well." He chuckled. It was fun prancing around as a wolf, once he got the hang of it of course, but it did leave him sore. "This girl I worked with turned into a parrot. It would have been nice to try and fly." Although he wasn't sure how it worked. It would have to be something he tried again. Once he acquired some bird feathers, of course. "Do you have any animal you would want to turn into?" Art let out a chuckle, nodding his head some more. “Well, er… feel free to come and use the student labs here. You’re… you’re more than welcome to uhh, to try out some ideas and experiment a little.” Art was all for students doing this. Small explosions, and mess was nothing he was afraid of. “A wolf! Great Scott, that would have been quite an experience.” His mind wandered into thinking about what he might have turned into. “Oh! Are-are you quite talented in Defence against the Dark Arts?” he asked. It had taken Art a long time to be able to cast his patronus. Well after he had actually graduated from Hogwarts. Art listened intently as Austin spoke about his experiences during his time as a wolf. It sounded marvellous. He smiled at the thought of being a parrot, and flying, and nodded when Austin said it would have been nice to try and fly. He could agree with the young man on that. “Ohhh I-I’d like to be a rat.” He smiled. “It would be very interesting to see what Madame Curie’s life as a rat is like." SPOILER!!: Yoongi Quote:

As the professor was struggling figuring out what his heritage was, the Head Boy looked around the office. As much as he hated potions, more because he simply did not get it, he was still fascinated by the jars in the shelves. “Yup, I am” he said, looking back. Most people were confused as he tried to explain he was a muggle born in a pureblooded family. And if he took muggle studies? “I do actually, I like how Professor…I mean , Headmistress Moxley teaches it. It’s a combination of fun and educational” really good in his opinion. He had gotten a passing grade for his OWL so that was good right?
The same could not be said for his Potions OWL though. Yoongi had expected the Professor to laugh or grin at his failure but he still did not like it. And he showed it by clenching his jaw unconsciously. Was it that funny he failed a class he sucked at? But then he saw the smile fading away and he figured the professor thought it was more respectful this way. He was right.
As he watched him opening up a cabinet and pulling out a vial of potions, Yoongi sat upright and placed his tea cup down. “Elixir of Confidence?” he repeated, his eyes shining as he stared at the potion. “Can…can I have it , sir?” he asked, carefully holding out his hand but then took it back and frowned. “Its for free right? I don’t have to pay for it ?"
The Gryffindor smiled again, saying a quick thanks as he was offered help whenever he needed it. And that he was always free to talk. The last time he had asked a staff member for help he had actually scored a date with Norah. “So uh…two drops under the tongue right?” he was already making a mistake siiiigh. Art smiled, he had correctly made the links. What an extraordinary story. “Mmm, yes Headmistress Moxley is-is a fascinating woman, very funny,” he said with a little chuckle. It had been a pleasure to have met the woman, and now to be her colleague. He thought back to his days at Hogwarts, and tried to imagine being taught by someone like the Headmistress, Muggle Studies Professor. He couldn’t. He could hardly remember what it was like being there as a student.
Art looked down at the young man for a few moments, slightly confused. He opened his mouth and closed it, before nodding. “Of course! Of course it’s for free!” He chuckled and handed it to him, then went back to sit down. “NO! Just one. One drop under the tongue.” Great Scott, that woman would be chastising him for harming the students before he could say cauldron! "But… I hope you-you don’t feel nervous when you come to class. If you explode a cauldron, well…” Art shrugged, “That’s not a concern. Mess,” he waved his hand, “we have wands to clean up. Don’t-don’t worry. Mess, getting it wrong, explosions, minor burns, it’s all part of uhh… part of the fun of Potions.”
