Not sure wide range misunderstandings qualify as godmodding. Godmodding is intentional.
And sometimes, on the little things, it is easier for the original poster to just alter their intent to go with the misunderstanding than getting many many edits to fit that. Big things are worth it, small things, I've always just shrugged off and went with it.
