This was not one of those incidents. Actually, she knew this hallway well. And as creepy as she first found the armor, they became a comforting sight. A sign she was going the right way. She was still skeptical someone wasn't hiding in at least one of them at any given time, though.
But it was here she decided to stop and sort out her bag now that she'd come out of her last lesson for the day and had the time. She pulled over to the side of the hallway, between two suits, knelt down, and began by just pulling everything out of her bag and sorting it into piles. Scarlett was EXHAUSTED and sooooooo ready to just take a nice, long nap and then do her nails again. She was already bored of the hot pink glitter she'd done - she wanted something more Christmas-y now that the holiday was coming up!
Lost in her thoughts about how she was going to get teeny tiny Christmas trees on her nails, she realized that there were....things on the floor. Including a wand. Which was rolling down the hall right towards her. Picking it up and realizing that there was a girl nearby - who Scarlett actually recognized as one of her dormmates whose name she didn't know - she saw WHY things were everywhere. She was apparently going through her bag - or just throwing everything all over for some reason. Did she realize her wand was here?? Probably not. "Here, I think you need this," she said with a smile, tapping her on the shoulder and handing her her runaway wand.
