Haddie sat down next to her best friend, grinning like she was having the best time. She was clearly not mad about it. "This your doing?" she asked as loaded up a plate with eggs and sausage and bacon and toast and a couple of watermelon wedges. Naturally before she'd even finished filling up her plate, glitter had already started appearing in her own food.
Rachel went into peels of giggles every time she thought of what may be the outcome of her little prank on Haddie. She hadn't gotten to see the results because her friend had been fast asleep and her hair had been hidden when she came down for breakfast. Smiling as she chewed on some scrambled eggs, she pictured Haddie's hair all glittery and pink.
At that precise moment, she saw her heading towards the Ravenclaw table. Rachel had been right. The prank did cheer Haddie up as she was grinning. Oh! It was raining glitter! She giggled as her plate was covered with the substance. "Yes, it is. What do you think of it?'' She wasn't good at coming up with prank ideas but she had tried her best. "I thought it would cheer you up after what happened last night.'' She wasn't going to bring up David's name. No, she wasn't. Rachel was just going to leave it at that; 'a situation that had happened'. |
