Once the trash was picked up, Dot could focus on clearing the patch of all the weeds and things that cluttered it. Maybe she ought to keep the plants that weren't weeds, but... to be frank, Dot wasn't great at Herbology without her book and certainly didn't know which plants were weeds and which weren't.
And they all looked like weeds to her.
So everything came up, every dandelion, every branch, every vine twisting the life out of a square of pavement. She pulled up every single green thing until the entire patch was devoid of life. Green life. There was probably bug life under the ground, right?
Dot smoothed the dirt that was left as she considered her next step. It needed... ouch. Her finger. FINGER DISTRACTION.
