"But I could certainly exercise with you! If you don't mind, that is." Carl was in casual clothes, so he could do some physical activities too. The problem was whether he could keep up with the Professor's long strides ... and if he could get back to the Castle in time to attend his morning lessons.
So he was out exploring, well Julien could take that as a good reason, though he would be a little suspicious still.
"There is many thing to explore, but one must be careful walking around the grounds at certain hours. It might seem that you are up to no good." He wasn't accusing the child, just making a point to keep his nose clean.
He wanted to jog with Julien. Julien had never had a student go jogging with him before. This was an interesting turn of events, but one that Julien really didn't mind.
"If you would like to come, you are welcome." He started up his pace again and motioned for the boy to come along if he liked.
