While she listened, Olivia caught the headmistress' gaze aimed in her direction making her mildly nervous. Was she in trouble for not answering? Or being judged for not volunteering in any way? But thankfully she was soon smiled at, giving the opinion the attention wasn't a bad thing, the first year becoming relieved. The last she thing wanted to get on the bad side of a professor and headmistress.
Continuing to listen as Moxley moved on, the Ravenclaw watched as a large box was brought into the room igniting her curiosity. She didn't have to wait long as it was opened to reveal a whole assortment of things. Supplies that would be useful for cleaning and painting. Which was revealed just a few moments later, to be the purpose of the lesson and project for the class. An activity which made the instructions for comfy and able-to-get-dirty clothes all clear to her.
She could do that.
Olivia wasn't afraid of getting her hands dirty.
Or her gloves dirty in this case. Best to insure she didn't deal with anything on her skin that might not be good to touch. It wasn't like she could clean with magic like they had in the library. For one, this was Muggle Studies and two, it kinda defeated the purpose. The first year got to to retrieve said item from the collection of supplies, plus a garbage bag, before heading off to a spot of the room she figured she might as well start with. Once there, she began with picking up pieces of scattered trash.
Some wrappers and crumbled paper here...some discarded food or such there.
