“Your welcome” she nodded over to him when he thanked her. Really, that notebook seemed very important to him…”I’m sorry my housemates ruined your notebook at the feast” Mel blurted out as she clearly remembered hearing the discussion. “I was busy hiding under the Gryffindor table during that whole ordeal” she explained with a laugh.
“…how did you charm that so it didn’t get so wet?” She asked intrigued the interest and drive for knowledge that was the entire essence of what made her a Johanson flared up as she watched him with his notebook. "It could have been further." Rooney's eyebrow raised, and he looked at the younger girl for only a moment before going back to his satchel contents. Their conversation didn't quite need his entire attention and if he hadn't had things to check on then he would have wanted to give her his full attention. Also if she was saying anything worth the attention. Right now, she was just digging into everything that happened and all he had wanted was his bloody satchel. After putting his satchel on the floor, Rooney took off his outer robes and put them over the girls shoulders. "It's warm up. It's weather resistant." And temperature adjusting. Mama.
The Ravenclaw grumbled at her apology for her housemates and shoot his head. "What's done is done." And he knew who instigated it, he knew why it had happened. Rooney knew more about the plan than this girl knew. And he didn't mind much because he was emotionally involved in the sortings of Gryffindor. Particularly one. That, however, was another story. "You learn things at school. Pay attention in class." Obviously.
