He was getting down some good information, even if his hand writing was a little messy to tell. Quick notes were never his forte. Still, Violetta's response to his question was, puzzling... unusual. Did she only learn artsy stuff there? Or was it a proper education... like Hogwarts? Opting not to distress the portrait and lose more points, Zeke kept his mouth shut on that and instead added to his notes. Other peoples questions were good too.

"Sorry, last two questions..." he mused, trying for a smile, "what would you say your biggest achievement was? and may I ask how you died?" Were portraits like ghosts? Death-proud??? He hoped so.
