Moxley busied herself with fixing the boy some tea, noting how worried he was. She felt bad, she did, but she didn't have many answers to give and she wasn't sure offering up that fact would make him feel any better.

Holding out the cup of the steaming hot liquid and gesturing to the sugar and milk that had been set out on her desk for her own tea, the Headmistress shook her head. "It's not that, Oliver, and your concern for her shows what a wonderful friend you are. Please rest assured that Ms. Summers will be back here as soon as she can be." Which would hopefully be sooner than later. Moxley, too, was waiting for news on a few children and the not knowing always tied her stomach in knots.
