He chuckled at her attempt to be violent. Colt had punched someone actually in the nose. His cousin no less and it was a great experience. I mean he deserved it for being sarcastic.

"Yes!" That's what she had been saying right? Haddie sighed, fidgeting with her hands. "We were talking in the courtyard, and it was fine until he mentioned anything to do with magical history. When I didn't understand it, and simply asked questions about it, he acted like I was personally insulting him or stabbing his dog or something..." She glanced up at Colt, pointedly. "Which I would never do! I love dogs. And then he blew up at me, because I didn't know any magical history."

She groaned, obviously still frustrated. "Yeah, he's one dude. That I see everywhere! In the Ravenclaw common room. At the same table when eating! At the small table in History of Magic!! Him and his stupid smug face!" She wouldn't have this problem if she had been sorted into Gryffindor.

She glared at Colt when he chuckled, defiantly. "I've punched people before!" Haddie actually looked vaguely pleased with herself. "Plenty of times." She tilted her head slightly, as if considering something, then stood up. "I'm going to go punch him. Right now. Thank you Colt."
