This year was just filled with them it seemed but no big deal. "I'm a fifth year." Might as well confirm this just in case the blonde in front of her was wondering. Yeah she might be on the small side but she was older. No she wouldn't dangle her older age over the younger kid either, that wasn't how she worked.
Guitar though? Now there was something she could appreciate. "Oh yeah? I've been teaching my cousin to play over the summer. Are you taking lessons then?" If she was she was no longer being here at Hogwarts. "Thanks, I'm still learning."
Yeah, her hurting would be just more icing on the cake.
But she was fine, they were both smiling and they had been introduced to each other. Fifth year...that would make sense given she, Hady, hadn't seemed to be as upper classman as Tia, and certainly not as young as see. "1st year..." Olivia remarked about herself in turn, "but you probably figured that out." It wasn't like it was all that hard to decipher. Smaller stature...check, less experience around the castle...check; clumsy...check and check. Though if she wasn't lucky, that third one would continue on in later years. She'd have to work on it just to be sure of better luck. "Mhmm," she confirmed, both to the playing of the guitar and the lessons. "Slow going, but its something I guess." Maybe she could try on her own so she didn't get too rusty before next summer. As for Hady saying she was still learning... "I suppose musicians are always learning," she added with a shrug. There was so much out there after all since it was a subject matter that had been around for centuries.
