Although that was being a little too optimistic with his research. It was not nearly as groundbreaking as before. But this was what happened when the astronomer was in a good mood. A ridiculously good mood.
"Ah, Mr. Bronwyn. Back again I see," he said to the Ravenclaw with a quick salute after setting his equipment down. His vocals were probably a little bit too exercised and warmed up. He couldn't possibly break into song now and live without damage. Oh, but he wanted to sing. He wanted to sing so much. For now, Rooney would remain occupied by the sounds around him and sing inside his head. A private concert, if you may. Movement back down on Earth (aka six feet below him, because he wasn't flying or anything) caused him to open his eyes and peer around the wing of the Eagle. "Professor Flamsteed!" He returned the salute, shuffled to sit up without it being a strain and looked at what the man had with him. Stuff. "You make it sound like I'm here a lot, Professor." Which, in comparison to some other students..he probably was, but he could have been here a lot more often and with a lot more things to do. "They're still alive and kicking, though. The topiaries."
