Hady shifted her gaze to Frankie once again when he replied. Okay. He had said 'okay'. Why? She was rather curious after how much he made it a known fact if only to her that he was keeping his distance. Not that she blamed him for it since she was as well.
There was much to think about but there was no time. If she didn't change her attitude she could ruin her chances in what the bigger goal here was. That wouldn't happen. Couldn't happen. She wanted to be an animgus and if working side by side with the blonde was how it had to be done then so be it. Chewing her lower lip in thought she inhaled deeply letting the breath out slow before her eyes met Professor York's once again.
"Everything is fine, Professor, I was a bit surprised with the suggestion. I'll work with Frankie if that is what you recommend that we do." Hady would make this work and maybe just maybe some of the awkwardness that had developed between them over the last few weeks would go away. With any luck at all maybe they could even learn to be friends.
