There was a voice. Why was there a voice? The Scottish boy hadn't seen anyone in here when he walked in and he hadn't heard anyone walk in or come out of the dormitories. So what was going on? Was he hearing voices? He was hearing voices. Why was he hearing voices? But it was voices, it was just one voice. He had heard that voice before.
Bradson peaked through his eyes and saw the house ghost. "Do you know how to get my feet and legs to stop hurting?" The eleven year old looked up at the ghost. "I walked around the whole castle twice and around the whole grounds once." His legs felt like jelly.
Then a question popped into his head. He would wait to ask it.
The Friar would have taken a seat if he were still alive. However, since he was now a ghostly entity and could not sit without floating right through things, he merely leaned over to peer more closely at the boy.
"Well, you probably just need rest!" he smiled a little.
"So you went exploring? I bet that was fun, Brady. Sorry to hear you're tired now, though. Tell me, did you enjoy the sights? Or are you too tired to enjoy anything?" He was making conversation. It was nice to get to know the students, especially the badger ones.
