ΒΌ of the Sisterhood of the Traveling Pls This was getting tiring, the standing, but he didn't invite her to SIT by him, so it really wasn't allowed for her to sit, right? And anyway, this was too important to ask silly questions. She had to help her friend.
Who was being cute by saying he'd have done the same for her or Julie.
Okay, she HAD to help him; not shun him just because he threw a little bit of food at the prefects. So she listened attentively, and when he put things like that... it did sound like he was the victim here. Sort of. She felt bad for him, and a sense of injustice towards Professor Flamsteed. Frowning deeply, she said "But still, don't you think talking would have been better? Now you just made it worse. Now, no one really will never believe you." She was genuinely concerned for him, y'know? "Maybe you should talk to Professor Flamsteed again to explain yourself." If he wanted, she would even go with him.
She... wisely kept it to herself that in her opinion, prefects and professors were almost always right. She really didn't think the prefects had been rude to him and his cousin, but for the sake of the argument, better to act like she believed him. Such innocent lies hurt nobody, said her mum. |
