Typically he didn't run more than in the morning because he was training for combat, and that was an intense six hour training that took up all his free time. But since he didn't have a tournament to train for, he could allow a little slack in his regime, yeah? More running wouldn't hurt him.

Swimming. That.... he wanted to? But last time he sort of got distracted, and it made him feel weird. Staring was rude. But impossible not to considering. "What are you gonna swim in?" He sprinted for the lake anyway. Even if they didn't swim, they could sit by the lake to rest their legs.
