"But anyway I was asking because I was wondering if you knew anything about making those portraits that moved," an innocent smile was added to the end of that. He really was curious about that. And technically it wasn't part of his plan. He didn't even know the plan. Just innocent curiosity.

What was he meant to say to that? If he said he was looking forward to his class it would seem like sucking up... but it was true... ah... oh well...

"Nice to meet you, sir! I've been looking forward to your classes! I've heard a lot of my friends say that it's boring... but I don't actually know anything about magical history... plus I've heard that a few things between magical and muggle history do kind of relate to one another so I think it would be interesting to actually learn about that. Especially because most people would only know one side so they wouldn't know what actually happened-"

Glancing up at the professor he cut off his own rambling. Giving another sheepish smile he moved to scratch the back of his neck awkwardly.
