True, he'd seen girls wear pants. Totally uncool they got to wear both and boys didn't, for sure. Although, either the professor was talking in code or he was just slow in understanding what the man was saying. Was that a yes? Or a maybe? Did he have to talk to the headmistress? For the love of Sir Nicholas, he didn't need a permission slip signed from home, did he?

"So," he mumbled, fiddling with the edge of his jacket and feeling the nerves again, "That's... a yes?"
