That's when her face dropped his father has passed and his mother isn't around. oh my goodness, this young kid has already had such a hard life. Echo felt like hugging the kid but they had just met and she didn't want it to be any more awkward. "oh im so sorry" she said quietly.

"i don't think your name sounds snobbish?" and just like that Brady was just snapped right out of their previous topic and on to a new one.. holding both her hands up she gave a small smile and laugh "alright, alright, gorgeous" she placed her hands back down and man Brady was like an emotional rollercoaster, Echo didn't know what to say "Slytherin is an awesome house! Im so happy to have been placed in this house" more soft smiles for Brady.

"I suppose so. I've never owned an owl of my own before so I think I must have gotten lucky with the one that I chose." Brady said as he pet Adele.

Bradson shook his head at her and shrugged. "It's alright, you don't have to be sorry...not about the mum part, I don't remember her at all. She left me...my gran said that she actually left me in Diagon Alley outside the Leaky." From what he knows about his real mother she wasn't someone to be proud to call mum. "My dad died a couple years ago, I don't know what happened my grand still won't talk about it." Then there was his adoptive mother but he didn't really want to get into that.

Brady nodded. "I wish I was placed in Slytherin, it would have been pretty fun to be there." He was sure that someone could sneak him into the common room though. Maybe this girl could but he wouldn't ask that of her right now.
