When Mr. Kitridge started talking about how much he loved the books in the library - and of how they were equal to the "woman he loved," Kitty began to feel strangely emotional. Much as she loved reading herself, if she had read someone saying that in a book, she might have thought it sounded crazy. But hearing him say it right now with so much raw emotion made her feel very sorry for what Peeves had done, and she was glad when Haddie apologized. "Scourgify" she muttered, aiming her wand at one of the shelves.
Thankfully at that moment two more students (A Ravenclaw and a Hufflepuff) offered to help them clean up. Kitty smiled at them as Kitridge gave them instructions. With all five of them cleaning, this should be finished in no time! |
