Artie will hopefully calm down as the last ferrets are caged."

"Artie!" Lex held out his hands, cupping them to allow the little rat to crawl in; Artie seemed to relax a little at Lex's familiar scent.

Lance scurried down Lex's arm, sniffing and pawing at his brother, and then began cleaning him. Artie closed his eyes and began making a contended bruxing sound.

"Thank you, sir," Lex said to his rat's rescuer. "They both seem to be alright..." He sighed with relief before going and sitting again his armchair, letting his ratties climb and explore his robes.
