What animal was that? A bull? The silvery substance it was composed of made it difficult to discern features or specific form at first. No, it was... a buffalo. Well, no matter; bovine creatures were not exactly Daxton's specialty. In any case, it was communicating with him, and that was probably the most significant point of interest, rather than identifying its genus. He listened.

When it was done talking, Daxton paused to make sure it really had gone, then simply continued his way out of the room. None of his actions were ever based on or swayed by what someone else preferred him to do, so naturally he was still leaving. There was no reason not to see the professor, though, and Daxton was curious to see what the man would have to say to him, so that was precisely where he was going.
