Everything from his expression to the way he dragged his feet and the sullen look on his face said he CLEARLY didn't want to be here but after that food fight...he didn't want to give Airey ANOTHER reason to write him off--yet. Very much yet. This class would determine whether he came back for months or not.
So far, he wasn't impressed. The bloody jerk of a Professor left them on their own to do magic. Blaise took pause at the man's words, not bothering to find out the direction it was coming from. Stupid magic. Open the stupid cabinet. Open the stupid box. Get into the next room. Well what if he didn't WANT to go into the next room. Quite resigned against this whole thing, he walked over to his cousin. "D'you know how to open these?"
Bentley was thinking about how he was going to go about this whole unlocking and number getting thing when Blaise finally showed up. Wow he was starting to think that his cousin was just going to ditch the first class of the term altogether (like the professor did). But he was pleasantly surprised.
"You made it! I thought you were going to ditch." The second year immediately began digging in his book bag.
"Here!" He said offering his cousin's wand to him.
"I figured you'd be needing this, even though I'm sure you're not going to use it. It's the best the professors think you're using it even if you're not." He gave him the look which clearly said, please don't argue.
"
So the spell is pretty easy really...you just need a bit of practice." Which he had plenty of.
"Pick a cabinet." They'd clearly be doing this together.
