Zeke just watched her a moment as she turned to lean against the fountain, hands in pockets. He hadn't really thought to stop here, but he supposed he could. Following her cue, Zeke sat himself on the edge of the fountain, one leg bouncing rhythmically against the wall while the other remained firmly planted on the ground.

She was being technical, how good of her to be so considerate. Career choices. Personal choices sounded better. "Mmmm, I guess," he replied with a nod. Technically though running away and just DOING things was an option for him, one that would likely lead him to an early grave - which he was doing his best to avoid. One brush with danger in the field was enough to tell him he needed to know things. Company though, "Suppose I might," he countered, his grinning cracking slightly to reveal his pearly whites. After all, adventures were best shared with others.

But his adventures really would have to be put on hold for some time yet, unless he could help it. Classes though, would improve his likelihood at succeeding at whatever opportunities or obstacles were thrown his way. And Merlin's beard.... "Ew... you're not trying to take all of them, are you?" Was she for real?
