She doubted his notebook was full of ideas and things that would get him in trouble the hers was. Or maybe it was. Perhaps they really were that similar and she'd have a partner in crime. That would be nice, actually. What was in his notebook? She was tempted to ask, but that'd just lead to him asking in return and, well, with the way the house reacted to the food fight, it might be taken away, least she do some of those ideas she was working on it.

She shrugged, sort of. It was a shrug, but seemed to be more conveyed through her expression than her shoulders. "I... wasn't really aware food fights needed a reason. Besides fun, I mean. That's usually all the reason anyone needs." Haddie ate her pear for a moment. "I don't think my definition of fun really match the House's idea of fun, though." She shrugged. It was hard to tell if that bothered her or amused her. "What do you like to do for fun?"
"Haddie." Yep, she was the food fightin' firstie. "It's good to put a name with a face," David assured her, because he was a nice kid, and it was alright that she flung food sometimes, as long as in the end, no one went hungry. And as long as no house elves quit in protest because their hard work wasn't being appreciated. But he couldn't say any of thaaaaaaaaaaaaat to his new acquaintance.

Wait, she thought food fights were fun? "Uh, okay," he replied to that with a somewhat judgmental wrinkling of his nose. Yes, he was part of the noble House of Ravenclaw which did not find food fights fun. "Oh you know, stuff." He was slowly becoming conscious of the fact that what he found 'fun' was considered 'boring' by some. "I like books, and learning new magic, and exploring creatures, and playing with plants and potions, and traveling, and sometimes tricking my friends." Oh! "AND I collect Chocolate Frog Cards. I have over 38 different ones right now!" Was she impressed by that? She should be. Not EVERYONE was organized enough to collect cards. "What about you? Do you throw anything besides food?" Like, er, quaffles?
