Hope had wandered around for a little trying to figure out where everything was, but Hogwarts was just soooo big! and with the moving stair cases... Forget about it... So she made her way back to the common room. She passed her housemates. How cool was that to say?? House mates!! She waved at them as she found a seat by the window over looking the grounds. she sat there and pulled out a book. She didn't know why she was placed in Gryffindor because she wasn't all that brave, unless it came to defending her family and friends then from out the depts of her, her braveness reared it's head.

She sighed as she pulled out a piece of gum and chomped on it as she read. this was so relaxing. She knew this year was going to be great!

She saw Arista with some other girls and couldn't help but smile. Arista was such a warm hearted girl, just don't make her mad. She heard Thomas say that before. Arista could get along with anyone and meet anyone and make them an automatic friend. She was just that likeable! No wonder Hope had been so keen on her when she first meet her a few weeks ago in DA.
