Bathes in Maple Syrup | Dancing Lobster | Mrs. Charlie Weasley | Seneca's Beard | That's So Fetch

It was days like these where Frankie couldn't help but question the architects of the school. How could there be numerous passages inside the castle, but none of them led to the greenhouses? It would have saved him the trouble of putting on all of his winter attire and trudging through the snowy grounds just to go to Herbology.

To be quite honest, the blond wasn't sure why he was bothering to show up to Herbology. The centaur had cancelled Care of Magical Creatures that morning, which meant that the only class he had outside today was in the greenhouse ... with the Slytherins ... with Hady. Ever since Valentine's Day, he had purposefully done everything he could to avoid being in the same place as her. Not because he didn't like her, but because he was still unsure of what to make of the event that had occurred. Some sort of balance had been skewed, and awkwardness was the only result of that.

Classes were proving to keep that awkwardness ever-present by forcing them to share the same space, and Frankie knew that he couldn't skip every class he had with Hady for the rest of his life. So he might as well just grin and bear it. Plus there were no requirements that stated he had to work or even speak to Hady, right? So he had that going for him, at least.

Teeth chattering, Frankie kept his face down so that the icy wind wouldn't sting his face as harshly and kept his gaze downward at the footprints laid before him in the snow. Sigh. Was he there yet? If he wasn't there within the next minute, he was going to turn around and--

SLAM!

Immediately after his body collided with someone else's, Frankie's balance was thrown off, which forced him to awkwardly side-step toward the greenhouse. Catching himself by pressing his hand against the glass, he then stood upright and quickly adjusted his scarf. "OI! Watch where you're--" He stopped speaking when he heard the person he had bumped into begin apologizing. He knew that voice. That was Hady's voice.

When he looked up, he noticed that she had stepped to the side so that he could enter the greenhouse. Frankie simply blinked at her for a moment without saying a single word before his eyes returned to looking down at his feet. Should he stay or should he go? "Uhh..."
