"I'm David, David Truebridge." He tucked his charcoal pencil back into his book and closed it. Guess he was up for socializing now. "I'm a second year. I wasn't worried about your food fighting, I was just curious about why anyone threw food in the first place?" Was it because of the hag? She was a good target, sure, but he'd been taught to respect all magical creatures and beings. Even goblins. Haddie was quiet for a moment while she took another bite. "Hadley Denaker. Well, Haddie, usually. First year, but you knew that." She couldn't help notice the similarities between them. Both sitting there, eating a pear, closed journal (or notebook for him), both Ravenclaw, and... well, actually that was it. That she knew of anyway.
She doubted his notebook was full of ideas and things that would get him in trouble the hers was. Or maybe it was. Perhaps they really were that similar and she'd have a partner in crime. That would be nice, actually. What was in his notebook? She was tempted to ask, but that'd just lead to him asking in return and, well, with the way the house reacted to the food fight, it might be taken away, least she do some of those ideas she was working on it.
She shrugged, sort of. It was a shrug, but seemed to be more conveyed through her expression than her shoulders. "I... wasn't really aware food fights needed a reason. Besides fun, I mean. That's usually all the reason anyone needs." Haddie ate her pear for a moment. "I don't think my definition of fun really match the House's idea of fun, though." She shrugged. It was hard to tell if that bothered her or amused her. "What do you like to do for fun?"
