Is that wh--- wait, no, that was--- and heh, she was funny. David waited to get a word in edgewise, but like Char, this girl knew how to talk. A lot. That was fine by him, he was a better listener anyway. He cracked a smile at her and took another bit of pear while she sort-of introduced herself.

"I'm David, David Truebridge." He tucked his charcoal pencil back into his book and closed it. Guess he was up for socializing now. "I'm a second year. I wasn't worried about your food fighting, I was just curious about why anyone threw food in the first place?" Was it because of the hag? She was a good target, sure, but he'd been taught to respect all magical creatures and beings. Even goblins.
