 Fluttery Pegasi
She was exploring today. The castle was huge, and there was so much to see, discover and find in it. It was also a bit of a childhood dream come true, for her, ever since her twin sister, Natalie, decided that all the weird things that happened around them was because they were fairy princesses, sent to live as humans for their own protect. She and Natalie had spent years imagining what it would be like, once they went back to the fairy kingdom, to live in a castle, and now it happened, sorta.
For one of them at least. She frowned and clutched her journal tighter. She missed her sister, missed having a partner in crime. The fact that she was here without Natalie unsettled her. It hung over her like a single dark cloud in an otherwise picture perfect sky.
Haddie leaned closer to one of the courtyard stone pillars, studying the detail of it and letting her mind wander away from thoughts of her sister. It was easy to do. Living at Hogwarts was like living in her imagination. Ideas were constantly coming to her, some sparking and crackling to life, some flaring brightly, others simmering slowly. It was a bit overwhelming really.
At this rate she'd fill her journal up by Christmas. Though she had ideas for that scribbled down in the book. But the flood of ideas that filled her and her book. So much she wanted to do now, and so much more she'd need to learn and figure out in order to do them. And she still barely knew anything, being so new. It was overwhelming, and a bit frustrating.
So for today she was keeping herself distracted, exploring her new playground, trying to learn everything it had to offer her. The courtyard was beautiful and quiet. It would be a good place to hang out with her friends or scheme.
