James was accustomed to early wake-ups and his time at Hogwarts would be no exception to this routine. This being said, he was already sat inside his office, leaning back in his chair with a book in hand a mug of hot coffee on his desk. Black, no sugar. Just the way he liked it. Though there wasn't a knock on his door, he did hear the outside door open and shut meaning only one thing: a visitor. Who would be up so early on a Saturday morning? He had no clue. But he was in a much better mood today than he had been in ages so whoever it was made a good choice.
He did not, however, bother to stand up from his chair. Instead he flicked his wand at the door which then in response swung open. "You may enter," he said before taking a long sip of his morning brew.

Having only had a chance to move into the room, her thoughts of waiting and being nosey were shot down as Professor Draper opened his office door and called her inside. Awesome. With a bounce in her step and a slight tinge on her cheeks still present from her run, Marsha moved quickly across the waiting area to the office door.
Peeking around said door, the red-headed Lion grinned at her new Professor.
”Good morning.” With a skip in her step she moved fully into the office to see him.
”I just wanted to come and say hello… and introduce myself and tell you how much I’m looking forward to your lessons.” And maybe see if you want an extra pair of hands with the Creatures… but that would come.
She took a few more steps towards his desk but didn’t sit down until she was told to.
