The alarm clock had woken Trixie at twenty five minutes past right which gave the first year enough time to go to the bathroom before heading downstairs into the common room. She had severe bed head but since she had to be at the meeting at eight thirty it meant she had no time to brush her hair.

"Good morning all. How are we...oooh look pancakes." She changed direction and headed straight for the table with the food. She was rather hungry after having only a couple of sandwiches last night.

Trixie loaded her plate before moving away from the table to let other people have access. As she moved through the crowd her gaze fell on the huge sign sitting above the fireplace.

What could SHE do for Hogwarts?

She turned to look at the Head of House. "Sir? I know what I can do for Hogwarts." Pause. "I can paint it purple." Because purple was her favourite colour and the castle could do with a bit of a facelift.

All that grey stone tends to get a little dreary.
