"I was," he nodded, his glide coming to a stop beside where the fifth year sat. "I could not help but notice a bit of unrest at the feast you see. Between you and a certain young lady." His expression softened and he bowed his head as if showing his condolences. "Wooing and winning the affections of another is tricky business and, speaking from experience, can be the death of even the most noble among us."
