It's warm colors and soft textures seemed like the perfect place to sit and read.. Alice sunk into one of the chairs near the fire and wrapped her arms around her knees as she pulled them to her chest. "Merlin... I could just fall asleep." But she didn't want to fall asleep.. she wanted to explore and make friends and show off Diaval.. who was most likely in her room, being miserable.

Casting a glance around (finally) her eyes landed on an obvious first year in a nearby chair. Hmmmm. She might let her soak it all in before she bombarded her with conversation. Hehe. Just a minute.
She did, however, get a small smile and wave from the excited blonde in the floor.
NOW! Where were her FRIENDS? AND COULD SHE MAKE NEW ONES NOW? COULD SHE COULD SHE COULD SHE? Her previous lack of sparkle and bounce had diminished to some degree already!
Arista was still quite upset at Flamsteed for her loss of points but it was her fault to but still.. The Gryffindor bounded up the steps ready to be reunited with the common room she had come to love so much. She loved it here and it was great to be home.
As soon as she entered her eyes immediately saw a familiar redhead first year getting acquainted with the 'Lion's Den' she giggled remembering her first year she had run throughout the common room so excited. She walked over to the girl and said "Alice!!" She instantly pulled the girl into a hug letting her go she saw another person, (Dora) "Eep hello person I don't know." She also pulled that girl into a hug because why not? She smiled at the girl as she let go and said "Hope you like hugs! I'm Arista Royal by the way." She said giving a small curtsey.
