Maggie groaned slightly against his chest. Quietly. To make sure nobody else heard. It wasn't exactly a very lady-like sound to make. But it perfectly summed up the turmoil of emotions currently coursing through her body. How had this happened? Also when? And why? And how had she not realized it? It had completely taken her by surprise just now. Of course she'd known she cared about Zeke – duh! – but apparently not the extent of how MUCH.
