As Austin came back from the staff table, and sat down in his original seat, it began to rain. No, scratch that, it began to pour. The rain washed away most of the potatoes on his robes, but it left him wet and cold. Shivering slightly, he hoped that his pointed hat would help keep the rain out. Sadly, it too was soaked, and just felt like a large, wet, cat was sitting on his head.
Although he was cold, and slightly less happy than he was 15 minutes ago, he was glad he had gone up to the staff's table. Maybe his Ravenclaw companions wouldn't think so, but perhaps some of the older students would back him up. That was if he knew any older students. Most of his new friends were first years. But he was sure they all thought he ruined their fun. Maybe if he sat quietly and kept his head down, no one would notice he had even left at all.
