It swayed back and forth for a bit until it finally went back to its calm bob on the surface of the water. "Oh, thank, Merlin," she said. She was sure SOMEBODY knew a drying spell, but she didn't want to take her chances. She didn't want to be known as the girl who swam to the castle instead of riding in a boat. "Are you okay?" she finally thought to ask the girl.
Hadley Denaker sighed and nodded. Then realized it probably wasn't that visible in the dark. "Yeah, just embarrassed." Her face was a little sore too, but Haddie decided not to mention that.
"I've never seen a real castle before, and I guess I was a bit too distracted by it to pay attention to were I was walking." Thankfully she'd tumbled into a boat and not the lake. It might have been summer still, but that water didn't look overly warm to her. "I'm Haddie, by the way."
