That was an absolutely BRILLIANT speech. Know why? Because in the next second there was food.
Sure there was a Hag that would be teaching them, and yes that one Charms guy looked like he was straight out of the Military (guess who'd be skipping his class--THIS GUY) and yes Airey was out (Thank Merlin, you answer prayers, no cuffs for this Gryffindor) but right now, all Blaise saw was the food and quite unceremoniously he grabbed a bit of mash from a plate nearby and slopped it against Mr. Head Boy's.
THAT was for being mean.
Wasting little time, The Gryffindor grabbed said plate of mash and hopped onto the seat he was meant to be sitting on. "Go go go! Bentley, get up here!!" Gryffindor male Prefect not in sight just yet, and Candice was too nice to be attacked so the boy began hurling food both toward thw Slytherin table and the Ravenclaw one, knowing just the Prefects he had in mind.
Unfortunately his aim wasn't all that great and he sometimes hit others but LIVES HAD TO BE LOST DURING WAR AND A LITTLE MASH POTATO NEVER HURT.
Ahem. Food fight?
